How to Handle Failure

Can you imagine giving up at the first rock?

Albert Einstein once said, "Success is failure in progress." Think about that for a moment. What does it really mean? It means that as long as you keep moving forward, keep learning, and keep growing, failure doesn’t truly exist.

But you might ask, “What if I try something, and I’m going broke? I can’t sustain it—doesn’t that mean I failed?” No, it doesn’t. Trying something that doesn’t work doesn’t mean you failed—it just means that particular approach didn’t get you where you wanted to go. The goal remains the same, but your strategy needs to shift.

Life isn’t about sticking to one straight path; it’s about adjusting, rerouting, and finding new ways forward. Sometimes, you have to take a small detour to reach your destination. That’s not failure—it’s progress.

The only time failure truly sets in is when you stop trying. When you give up completely, that’s when the journey ends. But as long as you keep going, keep learning, and keep adapting, you are always on the road to success.

So whatever challenge you’re facing right now, don’t see it as the end. See it as a lesson, a stepping stone, a chance to adjust your course. Because as long as you keep moving, failure is never final—it’s just another step toward success.
